A Post Claimed Alaskan Bush People‘s Rain Brown & Her Husband Got Into Legal Troubles Earlier This Month
On the show, Rain, born “Merry Christmas Kathryn Raindrop Brown,” was the youngest of the Brown family. During her time on the show, she earned the nickname, “Bush Barbie,” due to her interest in fashion.
Back in December, Rain announced that she had married Josiah Lorton. Taking to Instagram at the time, she shared, “Baby, this is our world now. Yes. I’m married, y’all.”
Recently, on social media, a fan recently shared a surprising screenshot with fans concerning both Rain and her husband. Noting that they were in a fan group for the show, the poster shared, “An anonymous poster had found this! I wish I could give credit to them. So thank you whomever you are.”
According to the chart, which appeared to be police records, it was shared that Rain, identified as “Brown, Merry Christmas Raindrop” was arrested on April 11, 2025. Charges against her included burglary in the first degree, malicious mischief in the first degree, and criminal trespassing in the second degree.
Rain’s husband, listed as “Lorton, Josiah David Michael,” also faced similar charges. These included both burglary in the first degree and malicious mischief in the first degree. He was also charged on the same date as Rain.
As previously reported, Rain’s marriage has received mixed feelings from fans. Notably, at the time she announced her marriage, she shared, “We didn’t do a big fancy wedding just my most trusted not even my siblings were there, so with that said obviously I won’t be posting any film because there wasn’t any.”
