Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown had some news to share this week regarding his mom Ami Brown‘s current health status.
After the Brown family matriarch was hospitalized back in February due to a severe case of pneumonia, she was living with Bear and his wife Raiven upon her return home.
But now, Bear revealed in a new update on Wednesday, April 9, Ami is “no longer staying” at his home while she recovers.
“She hasn’t been [staying with us] for a little bit now,” Bear shared in a new selfie-style video uploaded to Instagram.
“She has still been coming over and visiting every now and then, playing with the kiddos,” added Bear, who shares three children with Raiven.
Bear also revealed that his mom’s health continues to be stable.
“Her heart rate is good, and her breathing is good,” he explained, while noting that Ami is “as out of the woods as she can be.”
“Unfortunately, the medical issues that she has are lasting…they’re not gonna like go away,” he noted. “But she has medicine and breathing things and stuff like that that she’s staying up on.”
