Alaskan Bush People‘s Rain Brown Lorton Recently Shared A TikTok Video Set To A Spooky Song
Alaskan Bush People originally aired from 2014 to 2022, lasting fourteen seasons. On the series, fans saw the Brown family, initially led by Ami and the late Billy Brown.
On the series, Rain was one of Ami and Billy’s younger children. Since the series aired its last episode, Rain has been keeping fans updated on her life on social media, from Instagram to TikTok.

However, as noted by Monsters & Critics, Rain Brown has recently accused her sister-in-law, Rhain Brown, wife of Rain’s brother Noah, of attempting to steal her identity. Rain discussed this in a TikTok video which she set to the song, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”
The video showed Rain mouthing along to the song and pointing to herself. However, she wrote in the caption, “POV your crazy sister-in-law [tries] to steal your identity but there is only one Rain Brown and you’re the real one.”
As previously reported, Rhain herself had previously shared on Instagram that she had been going by the name of “Rhain” since before she met Noah. Taking to Instagram, she had shared an image of her college diploma, which addressed her as “Ruth ‘Rhain’ A. Merrill.
At the time, Rhain noted, “I don’t like being reminded of my first name. It was the name my parents gave me, yes, but it was never a name I liked. In my teen years, I changed it. It wasn’t until I met Noah that I changed it legally.
Rhain Brown Previously Explained Her Name On Social Media
“This is a picture of my first of 3 college degrees that I have. Given to me on August 25th, 2011. Let it be stated that Alaskan Bush People did not premiere until May 6th, 2014.”
“So, if you can see here, that I was already documented as Rhain, 3 years prior to any possible knowledge of someone in particular, then you can feasibly reason that I did in fact not change my name because of that person.”
Taking to the comments, many fans shared mixed views on the video. Some were sympathetic towards Rain, feeling it was time someone noted that she and her sister-in-law had similar names. On the other hand, others pointed out Rhain’s recent Instagram share. Some comments included:
- “What’s weird is that she showed her diploma on IG that had “Rhain” on it long before she ever met rain brown. Their names aren’t even spelled the same. There’s 3 sides to every story. Just saying.”
- “I always wondered how he ended up with a wife the same name as his sister. I didn’t know she changed it till TT.”
- “What’s weirder is Noah wanting someone named the same name.”
- “I thought you’re name was Merry Christmas Kathryn Raindrop Brown but nickname is Rain.”
- “We are ready for the tell all book.”
As previously reported, Noah and Rhain previously announced plans to separate back in January. At the time, Noah released a statement on Instagram noting that Rhain did not want to be mentioned in updates on TikTok or similar social media.
