Jay and Pamela have the same Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type 3 (OI), which makes it harder for them to move without motorized vehicles.

It is also known as brittle bone disease, a lifelong condition that leads to abnormal bone formation. Those who deal with the issue also face constant bone fractures. Hence, the doctors believed Jay and Pamela would not live past their childhood. However, they were bound to fall in love with each other. The former is 28, while his partner is 30, and they are planning a wedding together. 

Jay & Pamela’s Relationship, Family, & Future Plans

Jay and Pamela became popular for their one-of-a-kind relationship. The former discussed his sexual identity during the first episode of the series. He stated, “Something a lot of people don’t know about me is I am a transgender man.” However, he has been grateful to have a supportive family who accepted him without any questions or negativity. Unfortunately, Pamela wasn’t as lucky as her partner when it came to her family.

Like all other couples, Jay also met his lady love, Pamela, online in 2019, and they have been inseparable since then.
