Through a series of stories, she issued a serious warning to all as she didn’t want anyone to be in her situation.  She blamed her “cigarette smoking” habit as the reason to put her back in the hospital bed.

Vannessa revealed that the habit was nearly killing her with an ulcer that the doctor found during the procedure. While she worked really hard towards her goals, she regretted going back to her old smoking habit and eating spicy food. She, particularly, begged those who had gastric, sleeve, or any other surgeries and continued their smoking. This message from Vannessa was an eye-opener for fans.

In the recent clip from 1000 Lb Best Friends shared with Parade, Vannessa Cross became emotional while trying on wigs for the first time. With the weight loss journey, she suffered from hair loss as it impacted hair follicles and growth. The exclusive video featured Vannessa experimenting with different styles of wigs accompanied by a hairstylist.

Vannessa looked visibly moved when she looked at herself in the mirror in a long, synthetic blonde wig. While she was still wearing the wig, she expressed joy in seeing herself in a natural look again. It was indeed a beautiful moment since it was the style she always wanted to have.

While Vannessa struggled to hold back tears, she added, “I just haven’t seen her in a long time.” As it brought back many memories for her, she reflected on her past in a confessional video. She admitted to never really cared about her nails, teeth, or hair when she was 500 pounds. However, her perspective started to change when she was losing weight.
