According to her, leaving the show was an extremely tough decision. Since the production team had changed the show’s direction, she had to call it quits.

Fans know the show now solely focuses on weight loss surgery instead of traditional methods to lose weight. At present, Tina isn’t interested in pursuing surgery for weight loss. Hence, she felt there was no longer a place for her to remain on the show. She wrote, “I was told that if I were to consider surgery, we could discuss my continued involvement.”

However, Tina also mentioned that in “The Plan,” she wrote a thrilling saga of love, loss, and unpredicted turns. This post stunned fans as they never thought she could become an author. As some of the fans skimmed through her books, they found the writing style of the books underwhelming.
